Privacy Policy
Effective 19 August 2026 · Updated 1 October 2026 · Jesus Travels LLC d/b/a Lot Answer, Rowlett, Texas
The short version
We collect what the product needs to work and nothing else. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we have never done either. Your Facebook password is never sent to us — it is typed into a real Chrome window on your own computer and stays there.
What stays on your computer and never reaches us
- Your Facebook login and session. You log in through a genuine Chrome window, including two-factor. The session is stored in a Chrome profile folder on your machine. We never receive your password and we never receive cookies.
- Your browsing. The app drives Chrome only on Facebook Messenger and Marketplace pages. It does not read anything else you do.
What we do collect
- Account details — name, email, username, and a hashed password (we cannot read your password). Your dealership's address, phone and hours, because the AI needs them to answer buyers.
- Buyer conversations — the text of messages buyers send you about your listings and the replies sent back, so you have a record and so replies stay consistent. This includes whatever a buyer chooses to type, which may include their name or phone number.
- Vehicle and listing information you enter.
- Operational data — when the bot ran, which device it ran on, errors, and how much AI usage your account consumed.
- Visits to this website — which lotanswer.com pages were opened and which buttons were pressed, so we can see where the site is unclear. No cookies. Your IP address is mixed into a code that changes every day and cannot be turned back into the address; the address itself is not stored.
- Billing details — handled by Stripe. We store your customer and subscription reference, never your card number.
Who else sees it
- Anthropic — buyer message text and your settings are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to compose a reply. Anthropic does not train models on this data.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Railway — hosting for the dashboard and database, in the United States.
- Resend — sends account and licence emails.
- Twilio — delivers text messages: alerts to your phone if you switch them on, and texts between a buyer and the dealership (see Text messages below).
That is the complete list. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Text messages
When a buyer gives a dealership their phone number in a conversation about a vehicle, we may text them about that vehicle and put them in touch with the dealership’s salesperson in a group text. We only text numbers that buyers type in themselves, only about the vehicle they asked about, and the first message names the dealership.
- Message frequency varies with the conversation. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You can also email privacy@lotanswer.com.
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party. Mobile numbers are passed only to the carrier and messaging provider (Twilio) needed to deliver the messages.
Your team's data
Lot Answer is built so each salesperson's conversations, settings and phone number are visible only to them and to the dealership administrator. An administrator can see lot-wide settings and remove users; removing a user hands their Facebook accounts back to the lot rather than deleting the history.
How long we keep it
Account and conversation data is kept while your subscription is active and for 90 days after it ends, so a returning customer does not lose their history. After that it is deleted. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will, within 30 days.
Your rights
Whatever state you are in, you may ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@lotanswer.com and we will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for asking. Texas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and Utah residents have these rights by statute; we extend them to everyone.
Security, plainly stated
Passwords are hashed. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Installed copies authenticate with a device token rather than a database credential, so no laptop ever holds a key to the database. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — if a breach affects your data, we will tell you.
Children
Lot Answer is a business tool and is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email the address on your account before it takes effect.
